The world’s top search engine, Google has said it is offering small business Web sites a service that will let visitors search for information within their sites.
Google said the Google Custom Search Business Edition is hosted on Google computers that start at USD 100 per year and there is no need for businesses to run Google ads, thus saving them from paying thousands of dollars to make them visible.
The service is a-supported and free will let visitors search for information inside a website, however searches cannot be customised.
Google said, for USD 100 a year, the Google service would let customers search up to 5,000 pages within a specific Web site. For USD 500 per year, it searches 50,000 pages. |
