MobilKom Selects Chinese Vendor ZTE for CDMA Network |

ZTE, Chinese equipment vendor, has been elected by MobilKom to build a nationwide CDMA mobile network in the Czech Republic.
The work on the CDMA 1x EV-DO Rev A network will start in early 2007. The key areas of focus would include mobile data and Push-To-Talk (PTT) services; its network will be available to 97 per cent of the population, as per a statement issued by the company
MobilKom will be the fourth mobile operator in the Czech Republic. It is a joint venture between Motorola and ConnecTel.
