Google To Launch Its Own iPhone

The grapevine claims that Google might be thinking of getting into the cell phone market space. Rumour has it, that the Google phone will be packed with Google facilities like Gmail, Google Maps, Blogger, and the like. It will supposedly have a QWERTY keyboard; a 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, and 3G web connectivity as well.

There are claims that the 'Gphone' will be BlackBerry-like and available on multiple carriers, rather than just one.

The retail price of the potential Gphone is still not out.

The patent for a Google phone was submitted in 2005 and an update was sent to the US patent office recently and describes an application that can predict your searches and it will know your exact location, sources claim.
