Two months after Apple’s iPhone made its debut in the US, three European carriers have signed up with Apple to start selling its device in Europe.
Several rumours of T-Mobile selling Apple's iPhone in Germany and Orange carrying it in France both turned out to be on the money. O2 reportedly signed the deal for the UK.
All the three companies have reportedly signed exclusivity deals. All three agreements are expected to be announced in the IFA trade fair in Berlin at the end of this month.
However all the three carriers have refused to comment on the report. There are also reports that Apple has asked these carriers to share 10 per cent of their phone and data revenues with it. |
