Apple Inc yesterday introduced its latest addition to its iconic iPod music player line-up.
Bearing a close resemblance to the recently released iPhone outlook wise, the iPod touch is a Wi-Fi device sporting a touch-screen interface.
In conjunction with the iPod touch launch, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs also unveiled the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store which will allow consumers to update the library of music they purchase from the online music store when the iPod touch is in its docking stand.
The iPod touch, which will be available in a few weeks, has been priced at 299 dollars for an 8GB model and 399 for a 16 GB version.
Apple also announced that it will be shaving off 200 dollars from the 8GB version of its iPhone, the much revered device that was released in June this year. |
