Nuplex Industries Selects Verizon Business as Global Network Services Provider

Nuplex Industries – a manufacturer of resins for coatings, adhesives, paper and composites, and a distributor of a broad range of functional materials – has selected Verizon Business to consolidate the management of its global data infrastructure.

As per the agreement, the company will implement a fully managed Verizon Private IP solution to connect its 30 key operational sites across Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States.

Nuplex, which has seen recent expansion, said its network infrastructure had become increasingly complex and costly to run. The number of disparate systems in place also made it difficult for Nuplex to roll out new applications to support its business objectives. The company therefore decided to consolidate its global network infrastructure with a single provider to both optimise cost efficiencies and provide a firm foundation for future growth.

The fully managed Verizon Private IP solution will provide a secure, reliable, resilient and scalable infrastructure for Nuplex’s business-critical communications. It provides a voice and data communications environment to support Nuplex’s communications needs as the company moves toward IP-enabled applications.

With Private IP, Nuplex is able to prioritise its voice and data traffic to optimise network performance, and Verizon Business’ stringent service level agreements and reporting mechanisms provide real-time information on global network status. Most importantly, as Verizon Business provides full managed-services support, Nuplex is able to focus on its own business objectives, rather than the complexities of network management.
