EMC Appoints New Singapore Country Manager

Information Infrastructure solutions provider EMC has appointed a new Country Manager to run its Singapore operations.

Mr. Joe Ong, who has been with EMC for some eight years, brings with him 14 years of IT experience.

Prior to this promotion, Mr. Ong was the top District Sales Director for EMC Singapore for the two years he held that position. Before joining EMC, Mr. Ong held a sales leadership position at IBM and later at Memorex Telex, where he twice earned the record of top sales performer.

Mr. Ong succeeds Mr. Richard Price, who has assumed a new regional position of Director, Commercial and Channel Sales and Partner and Alliances, in the South Asia region.
