Datacraft has been awarded a multi-year contract by a leading international telecom service provider. This contract covers the provision of customer premises equipment (CPE) and Datacraft Uptime maintenance service to support a global IP network that the telco manages for one of their top clients. Under the contract, Datacraft was selected as the telco's key partner in installing and supporting the Cisco CPE that connects the telco's client to their global network in Asia Pacific, the United States and the UK. Outside of the Asia Pacific region, the project will be fulfilled by the Dimension Data Group, Datacraft's majority shareholder.
"It is no secret that in the international carrier market, every player is looking to improve lead time to connect and reduce costs while increasing quality of service. Outsourcing CPE provisioning and support is a prime means of achieving this," said Bill Padfield, CEO of Datacraft Asia. "We've been assisting service providers in their CPE provisioning and support for many years now. This US million contract reaffirms our expertise in this area and also attests to our ability to support the telco's worldwide organisation."
Datacraft has been working with the telco in Asia Pacific since 2004 and during the last two years, Datacraft has demonstrated its strong service commitment and technical expertise in helping the telco resolve critical issues in service delivery for its customers. |
